By Appointment Only

I’m Alessandra Bizzarri Todd, a Los Angeles native, born and raised on the westside and very much influenced by my Italian and Costa Rican heritage. Antiquity has always been a great source of inspiration for me which adds a layer of deep resonance with the beautiful origins of Ayurveda.

Yoga was introduced to me as a child by my father and it became my anchor in healing my physical & spiritual maladies later in life. I dove into my practice back in 2007 like my life depended on it, because to me, it did. As I explored myself through yoga, I quickly learned about its sister science, Ayurveda, and read every book I could get my hands on. I went on to build a career in design because of my passion for architecture, landscapes and lighting but all the while Ayurveda was my companion in raising my awareness. I became formally trained as a practitioner after a decade of growing and healing with its teachings in my own life.

What I’ve gathered over the years is that the knowledge of Ayurveda will land for those with courageous hearts, ready to reclaim sovereignty over their health. It offers us a language of energetics that helps us put that knowledge to use when selecting anything we ingest or come into contact with. We remember how to healthfully experience life through our senses which restores respect and proper function to those organs. It’s not woo, or pseudo, or alternative. It’s original medicine. The one we all crave because it’s the only thing that will ever quiet all the noise.

Ayurveda has survived thousands of years and its message is still sound. We are unqiue manifestations and must be treated as such to heal. The challenge can be how stressed and distracted we’ve become. We often need conventional care in combination with ancient wisdom in order to return us to wholeness, and that’s ok. Modern medicine can be life saving— how blessed are we that we have both as resources. This is the vision I hold for the future of healthcare with confidence that Ayurveda can meet us exactly where we are. Om shanti, shanti, shanti ~
